Sapporo Restaurant

A Preston Street favourite, Sapporo is a family run Japanese restaurant, owned and managed by the affable Mr. Cheung with help from son Kai. Sapporo is a model of Japanese efficiency and hospitality. The diners are seated at a traditional communal table, while the chefs occupy the middle space, skillfully preparing the food on two large metal grills. For those who want to dine as an intimate couple or group, smaller tables are available in adjoining areas. Alternatively, there is now a spacious function room where up to 20 people can dine.

House specialities are Teppanyaki and Seafood dishes that cater for all tastes.

In association with The Times and Daily Telegraph Sapporo now offers lunch for 5, Sunday - Saturday and dinner for 10, Sunday - Thursday.
